Fennel Syrup
Ingredients
1 Large fennel bulb (Tip and core, 300g)
500ml Water
75ml Honey
Equipment
Chopping board and knife
Small saucepan
Fine sieve
Sterilised bottle
Method
Dice fennel in roughly 1inch pieces and place in a small saucepan with cold water and honey.
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 25mins.
Strain through a fine sieve into a sterile bottle or container and chill.
