Gynhaeaf
An autumnal treat packed full of fruity autumnal flavours.
Ingredients
15ml Blackberry shrub
15ml Dà Mhìle Orange 33
A large dash of Aztec chocolate bitters (for example Fee brothers, Angostura, or equivalent)
Orange peel
Blackberries to garnish
Equipment
Cocktail mixing glass or jug
Hawthorne strainer
Rocks glass
Method
Make a blackberry shrub 5 days in advance
Add ice to the mixing glass or jug and allow to cool
Measure in the Dà Mhìle Apple Brandy and add the blackberry shrub, Dà Mhìle Orange 33 and chocolate bitters
Stir for 30 seconds and strain directly into a rocks glass over a fresh king size ice cube
Finish with a garnish of orange peel and fresh blackberries
