Gynhaeaf
An autumnal treat packed full of fruity autumnal flavours.
- 50ml Dà Mhìle Apple Brandy
- 15ml Blackberry shrub
- 15ml Dà Mhìle Orange 33
- A large dash of Aztec chocolate bitters (for example Fee brothers, Angostura, or equivalent)
- Orange peel
- Blackberries to garnish
- Cocktail mixing glass or jug
- Hawthorne strainer
- Rocks glass
- Make a blackberry shrub 5 days in advance
- Add ice to the mixing glass or jug and allow to cool
- Measure in the Dà Mhìle Apple Brandy and add the blackberry shrub, Dà Mhìle Orange 33 and chocolate bitters
- Stir for 30 seconds and strain directly into a rocks glass over a fresh king size ice cube
- Finish with a garnish of orange peel and fresh blackberries
